Description: There is a quote I read somewhere on the web but the source is unknown that describes Groovatron and this album very well it goes, "If Frank Zappa, Phish, and moe. had an orgy at a 70's funk party, the result would be a six headed beast called Groovatron!". As I said I don't know to whom this quote is attributed but it sums up the band and there style very well. This album has pieces that represent all of those influences.

The influences of bands such as Phish, The Grateful Dead, Moe., Frank Zappa, and Led Zeppelin really come across in the music on this album. It all comes together to form a very unique and original sound that only can be found in Groovatron's music. From the Deadesque opening rifts starting Shaunza Night Sky to the reggae beat of Hole In The Fish Tank this album has a very nice flow and was quite impressive. Look forward to more album releases in the future although I haven't heard from anyone in the band exactly when they plan to visit the studio again since they have been keeping quite busy touring.

Description: I am currently getting the skinny on this album from the band and have not actually listened to it. I am pretty sure that the track lists above are correct but the band does not offer this at it's shows currently and I believe it was recorded with some former members of the band and without some of the current members. Hopefully, I will get a copy and talk with the band soon to give everyone a little more background on this album.
